Need outfit help
Tomorrow night I am going to dinner in the city and will be seeing someone I haven't seen in almost fifteen years (don't worry, DH will be there ). I am not looking to be sexy, I just want to look pretty and polished and like I have my life together.
Currently I am debating between two new things I just ordered from Boden.
This color
or this skirt with a khaki jacket with three quarter sleeves (don't have pic)

i don't know, i love them both!
i'll be honest - seeing them together, my instinct is that the first outfit is more "mom" while the second outfit is more "professional" if that makes sense.
but if i only saw one and not the other i would totally think that either one is appropriate. the first one is just more girly.

We are going to a wine bar, if that helps. And the person I am meeting up with is the former auction director for Christie's fine and rare wines div.

Thanks, ladies! I wore the dress and DH thought I looked great and the person we met tonight, says I haven't aged a bit since high school He claims I don't have a wrinkle on my face but I think he needed to put his glasses on

Thanks again! Funny thing is that the dress is a knit and I was so convinced it was going to look frumpy or make me look pg but instead it is super-flattering and I wish it came in solids, too.
