we went home. We agreed to let the sellers stay for another 30 days because the husband had triple bipass 5 days before closing and wasn't allowed to move out of state.

I am about to go into contract on a house and i know i will be super nervous on my closing day! i doubt i'll have extra money to celebrate  congrats to all

We walked through the house with our parents, felt totally overwhelmed at the condition of the dump, then went out to dinner.
Two months later, we're still renovating, but we're totally loving our house.

We headed straight to pick up our friends at the airport. They had just arrived in town. We celebrated at dinner with them, then went to the Jimmy Buffett concert the next day. The day after that, we brought them out to see the house, had a few beers while sitting on beach chairs in our kitchen. It was the perfect way to celebrate. I think we celebrated again when we moved in a few weeks later.

We headed to the house, took some pictures, and had family over to celebrate with champagne.
