Beautiful bedding!!!!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Since you're leaning towards dark coffee and light brown - why not use both? Either use the coffee as an accent wall or do the bottom coffee, top light brown (separated by a chair rail)?

Re: What color would you paint this room

in re: to the bedding question, i would use the red striped pillow with a navy accent pillow. IMO the chocolate brown does not go with the red, white and blue color palette.

in re: to wall color, are you against red, navy or ivory? i am having a hard time visualizing how the brown would blend with other colors.

Re: What color would you paint this room

The only color I dont want to do is red, bc DS nursery is red, so Id like a change for his big boy room. Although, Im not opposed to a red stripe or accent paint somewhere.

something in the beige family

I think this is what Im leaning towards, bc when he is older to, its easier to change out the bedding and accessories to make his room "older" without having to repaint.

what color is the furniture? beige is a safe color and goes with everything. use red and blue in the accessories, window treatments, lamp shades and picture frames.

Lenox tan is a really nice dark beige color - not pale at all if that makes sense. We painted our finished basement Lenox Tan with a dark brown accent wall (Clinton Brown). A nice BM red if you want to do a stripe or something around the room is Raspberry Truffle.

What about painting the walls Lenox Tan and do a bold stripe (not thin, think like 10'' wide) around the room in red?

thats an AWESOME idea!!!!!

What if under the red, i did a thinner, say 2" navy stripe with a little of the tan between them? Too much?

No, I think that would be so cute!! Maybe a thin navy stripe above and below the thick red one.
