Ants
they are marching in.
through the back door.
what can I do?
if it matters, I am pregnant...not sure if that makes a difference in the remedies we can employ.
TIA

Re: Ants
they've started slowly coming back into ours again too...
DH sprayed the outside of our house while I was gone and not in the house plus he followed them for a few days (lol) and closed up some holes they were coming through from....check that on your door, they were coming in through our window.

Re: Ants
my aunt told me borax mixed with maple syrup put down a piece of masking tape (in your case I would do it outside if you can). She said ALOT of ants will come but you will never have them again. She learned this from a woman at her gardening class so i dont know how well it works. I have used max defense (you can get it at HD) and I spray it all around the perimeter of my house and this is the 1st year in three yrs I did not get ants.

Re: Ants
Pick up a soybean oil based insect spray. It's safe to use around kids and pets. I got mine at Walmart and it worked very well! Spray the track down and the foundation around the door.

Re: Ants
I have posted before about my ant problem. It got so bad that I had over 20 traps in my kitchen and just left them out - not even bothering to hide them.
Well, my friend recommended that new "Green Works" cleaner. I sprayed everything and let it sit and then wiped it down as normal. I know it sounds crazy, but this is day 3 of no ants! It is the first thing that has worked and our next step was going to be an exterminator!

Tilde, and you are on the second floor right? I hate Ants...they are little but soooo annoying. glad that 'green works" cleaner worked for you...I'll notebook this just in case.
