breakage and split ends after JHS?
Rather than doing the "newlywed chop" I had my naturally curly hair JHS'd in November. I love it, but it's definitely drier than it ever was. I also have a lot of split ends and breakage. I bought shampoo for dry scalp and a thick conditioner, but it's still happening. What should I use to combat this?

Are you ironing your hair? Do you use anything before blow drying?
You can get a protein treatment at a salon to replenish your hair... I happen to love BioSilk.. I use it everyday before blow drying.. heavier on my ends... it makes my hair very soft

You can get a protein treatment at a salon to replenish your hair... I happen to love BioSilk.. I use it everyday before blow drying.. heavier on my ends... it makes my hair very soft
I use my Chi flatiron for touchups and Chi's Iron Guard. Does this help prevent damage or is it more like a conditioner?

Do you remember if they used a root softener on your hair before applying the chemicals? A lot of people complain about breakage when their salon doesn't use the root softener.
If you don't need to use the iron, I would suggest not too.. or if you do have to use it, don't make it to hot and don't tug down on your hair... this can cause breakage too..

The truth is you are using a hot iron.
Any heat to you hair causes damage and breakage.
Im guilty of that pre Brazilian.
My hair has suffered major breakage!
Im sure JHS didnt help after getting it done.
