Re: Bumpits
Post a review when you get them! I saw this advertised on TV and I was intrigued although I probably couldn't get it to work the right way...

Re: Bumpits
Looks really cute.. and I think it comes with the tiny one too to bump just the front
I would totally order those, but I have a medium length bob.. so I don't think they'd work out for me

Re: Bumpits
sorry but every time I see this post I think it has something to do with armpits.
Like I was expecting this post to be about people who don't shave their armpits and have "Bum Pits"

Re: Bumpits
From glamour mag (via the msn.com homepage)
Hair-tool test #1: Bumpits What it does: Designed to make a perfect Brigitte Bardot-like bump, this handy plastic doodad falls into the why-didn’t-we-think-of-that category. Simply part your hair at the crown, tease it a little, then stick a Bumpit—a crescent moon-shaped plastic comb—behind the part. Make another part about inch behind the first BumpIt and stick in another slightly larger one. Presto—instant sex-kitten volume.
Screw-up factor: If you don’t brush enough of your hair over the combs and spritz it in place with hairspray, you could wind up with little plastic “teeth” poking out on top. Not cute.
Works best on: Shoulder-length or longer hair. The thicker the better.
Final verdict: A BumpIt ‘do can look surprisingly chic, and it sure beats the time-consuming, snarl-creating teasing that you’d have to do to create the megalift this little tool gives you. But if someone—say, that special someone—runs his hands over your hard, comb-topped head, he’ll probably freak.
Cost: $19.99 for pack of five, Bumpits.com

Re: Bumpits
So....I saw these at Target yesterday for $9.99 and I had to buy them.
My first thought is that I wasted $10. I am going to practice some more, but I think I am returning it.
I think the bump looks really unnatural and a little weird!
Has anyone else tried them?

ITA - I was super excited to get these - maybe it's just the shape of my head, but it just does not look right. And I paid over $20 including shipping.

Re: Bumpits
My sister and I ordered these and just returned them. We couldn't get enough hair to cover the bumpit to not see through the hair to the bumpit (if that makes sense....).
