We just got back from there and we liked Dunes Village (had an indoor waterpark). I would avoid anywhere around Family Kingdom that area seemed very scary... not very family. We drove down Ocean Blvd and saw people getting arrested left and right and almost saw 2 fights all in 1/2 hour!! We also stayed at South Beach Resort but the air traffic was LOUD.

hmm... who are you going with and what type of vacation are you looking to have? there are some very "interesting" areas of myrtle that you may want to avoid, especially if youre going with kids.
