Re: name brand stoves
I can tell you that my mom my is a big cook and baker. So far her favorite stoves & wall ovens have been Jenn-Air. We have a Jenn-Air SS grill and love it. Good quality stuff!

If you really want the best - wolf, subzero, viking
we looked into a jennair and it had a llot of bad reviews. We have a kitchenaid now and love it - we are selling our house and it's the first thing people comment on - they love the look...

LOVE my Wolf & its distinct red knobs.
Instead of 6 burners, we went with 4 & the gas grill in the middle..tastes & works like an actual BBQ..only thing to remember is that you have to get a more powerful, professional hood to match.
My aunt always raves about her JennAir so thats def an alternative in a different price point.
