Redhead used to scare me a little but in getting to know her through her posts and some FMs, I realize that she is an incredibly nice and kind person. AlsoMrsErod use to scare me a little too but she is another sweet lady. there is a couple of other people on here too i did not think i would like but I am glad to know.

I think mostly I had a good experience when I first came on LIF. My father had passed away and I had an overwhelmingly large number of resposes and support. It was good to know that these people were as supportive as they were. ANy run ins that I had with anyone whether expected or unexpected I didnt rally hold against anyone. I generally am content with LIF.

There are people I've had a lot of run ins with, but I came to respect them a lot over time despite our differences. Plus LIW/F has put me in contact with people and helped me to make firneds with people I would have never sought out to be friends with in 'real life", and it was definitely to my benefit to get to know them.

I actually can relate to what you are saying in alot of ways. Some people who i think may be a bit more aggressive then others or may have very different views of life then myself have been able to in many ways show me a new way of thinking. In "Real" life, i might not have had the opportunity to learn things from them because I might have not had them in my realm of friends. I think its great to see so many different views on things.

Nah- I think everyone here brings something to make LIF what it is. I pretty much like everyone until I have been given a reason not to. I never pre-judged anyone before hand . . . . .
I think everywhere you go there are people that you get along with better than others, for whatever reasons . . . .
There are many people I enjoy on here, but those that I have a connection with know who they are and how I feel about them

No, I think my first impressions have been pretty right so far.
Same here.
But I have to say I was pleasently surprised at some people's kindness when I was having family issues. I don't post a ton and mostly on parenting and a few people were so kind to FM me and help me through a tough time.
