De-worming

Do the pills that you can buy that you are supposed to give every three months kill existing worms? My cat keeps having little white worms on her buttChat Icon

Can I just buy the pills or does she HAVE to go to the vet. Her health is fine- eating, drinking and playing. I can't really afford the vet right now so if I can avoid it for the time being I will.

TIA!

my impression about the OTC pills for worms is that they dont kill ALL the different kinds of worms... i would call your vet!

Re: De-worming

This needs to be treated. Pets can become very sick from being infested with worms. Also, humans can contract the worms and it can be serious. Please take your cat to the vet.Chat Icon
