Question about when to start OPK
As you have all seen me complain the past couple of days, I am late. According to the day I was supposed to have AF, I should be finished w/ her by now, but tests I have taken have been negative. I am assuming that I still may have a chance to be PG if I ovulated late for some reason, so I am going to test again tomorrow (first thing in the AM). If I get another BFN, and AF just decides to skip over me this month, when should I start an OPK? I have First Response sticks (21 of them). If AF would have come on time I would have been due to O probably around next Friday. Should I start a few days before then, or should I start earlier/later?
I have a feeling, if I still don't get AF or a BFP tomorrow, I may ask the doctor to order bloodwork, just to make sure.

Re: Question about when to start OPK
Have you ever completely skipped a period before? Are you sure the days you have calculated are correct?

Based on the past few cycles I've tracked, I have had 27-29 day cycles. Outside of being pregnant, no, I have never completely skipped before. However, the anticipation could be causing me stress and making me late. Today would be CD35. There are no guarantees, and there is a first time for everything.
