My first official step
Although we have not started ttc, we have been doing research on the topic and will begin starting in August (we plan on buying a house in the next few months)
But anyway, I am starting the prenatal vitamins on Sunday, March 1st. My dr. wants me on them for 6 months before ttc.
I know it seems silly, since we are not trying yet, but it makes it feel pretty real that it will be happening soon.
Now lets see if I can actually get these suckers down my throat (bad gag reflex lol)

congrats on taking your first step! i'm at the same point you are...we aren't TTC quite yet but my dr. just started me on prenatal vitamins as well! they are HUGE and i have a hard time swallowing pills as well but i just try not to think about it....it's all for a good cause!

Congrats on taking the first step!
We haven't officially started either but plan to in about a year  It feels like a long time but our original plan was to wait even longer... so based on our track record, 1 year could very well be 6 months 
It's such an exciting time for all of us ladies!!!!

congrats. and yes, those pills are horse pills. can you cut in half and take it that way?

Unfortunetly No, they are kind of soft, but maybe the softness will help it slide down.
i will let you all know how the swallowing goes on Sunday

It's a great idea to start taking the vitamins. That's what I am doing. We want to start activily trying in April or May but I started taking them in January. It can only help!

If you don't mind... what kind are they? They sound like a gel-cap type which is what I'm looking for when my bottle runs out!

They are called prima care, they are prescription ones.
