thank you, well i still am a candidate for the cerclage, the baby is still small and ive been doing some research and ive come across tons of women that have gotten cerclages as late as 23 weeks and most around 19. So im really going to push for it.
im sorry u lost your son. 
just make sure your cervix is closed enough...that may be the problem. When it happened to me last year, they couldn't do the cerclage because my cervix was open, they put me on bedrest in the hospital in hopes that it would close and my amniotic sac would recede. Neither happened and my water ended up breaking.
Just saying that they might be cautious because of how open your cervix is and how close the amniotic sac is....like I said before, I would certainly go for another opinion.
