Those that found out gender....

Do you ever worry that they were wrong? For some reason for the past week or so I am petrified that my little Chat Icon is not a Chat Icon , even though I saw the vajay-jay with my own eyes and so did DH. Definitely no penis there. I have another sono in 2 wks, so I will confirm. But I will worry until then.....anyone else feel this way?

When I had my Level 2 -- their penises were as clear as day, so there was no doubt! DH was so proud! Chat Icon

Well both the sono tech and then the dr told us that the baby is a Chat Icon . The dr. even said she never spoke to the tech before she entered the room. So I'm pretty comfortable.

Nope... but only because I had an Amnio and it was confirmed. I've also had 5 sonos in the past 5 weeks and all have confirmed girl.

Re: Those that found out gender....

When I was pregnant with DD, I remember reading some stories on here about this-i.e. a woman was told she was having a DD, a few weeks later they said it was a DS.

It happens, but it's pretty rare.

I'm gonna say no. The tech took an educated guess at 14 weeks and said Chat Icon , then at almost 20 weeks the perinatologist confirmed Chat Icon . And she really was in perfect position. So I have no doubt in my mind that she is in fact a girl. Maybe cause I heard it at two different appts, I don't know. But I haven't second guessed it.

Yeah, there's a small part of both DH and I that's nervous Baby K will come out being a girl when we were told he's a boy ..........But then I tell myself, he has a penis, or he doesn't - And he definitely did -

With last pregnancy we found out and every sono apt I asked the same question "still a girl" Chat Icon .

my cousin was told with her 3rd child it was a girl and she had a boy. Rare occurance but I guess it does happen.

I had to repeat my level II sonogram four times because baby was uncooperative, and you'd better believe I asked them to confirm it was a girl each and every time!Chat Icon

OMG!Chat Icon
I have been thinking the same thing (esp since I foudn out early) but before they told me, we told them we didnt want any guesses at al. Either you were sure or you werent and then we would wait.

SO she promised us she would not guess by any means! She would tell us if she was certain.

Then she told us it was a Chat Icon

But I still hope she was right!

We have a growth sono on the 18th and GUARANTEE we'll be asking...at that point i'll be 24 weeks'ish...(too early to count ahead)...Chat Icon Chat Icon

I waited till 20 weeks before i even asked about it. I know that they can be wrong if you find out too early.

Re: Those that found out gender....

Not anymore because After 20 wks I been having a sono done because she only has one artery instead of two in her umbilical and the doctors have to monitor her alot.

As of this past monday I have to go every week for a biophysical and along with a sono and see my doctor also for the next 7wks which will be my due date (23rd of march). She is still weighing in small for 32wks. Chat Icon Chat Icon

It's already been confirmed Chat Icon 3 times but I did question it when they first told us.

Re: Those that found out gender....

Not really. Two different sono techs said it's a boy & we have a pretty clear picture of his boy parts!

Re: Those that found out gender....

I had two boys and a penis at 20 week is pretty clear - from my experience. So, I would think that they are right. Rarely , if ever, this happens these days.
