Is this too much?

We registered for a Gracco travel system stroller and added two Britax car seats (one for my car & one for DH car). People keep commenting three carseats but the infant ones goes back & forth between the car with the bases. The other 2 are for when the baby gets older so DH & I don't have to switch them.

Also - strollers:

We have the travel system
snap & go
I also added an umbrella stroller. People told me it would be easier when the baby is older. I also figured I could leave the umbrella stroller with my sister-in-law when she babysits my baby.

Honestly - is it way too much stuff?

I don't think it is way too much stuff. My friend registered for similar. She only ended up getting the one carseat but they plan on buying the other with the % off you get once the baby is born.

I didn't have a travel system so maybe I'm wrong but I don't see why you'd need both the travel system and the snap & go. Is there a reason you have both on?

As far as the car seats go, you're right on the money. If you haven't already, I'd suggest adding 1 more infant base so all you have to do is move the seat, not the base, from car to car.

Not too much.. its a registry.. you put on what you would like and your family and friends can decide what they would like to purchase for you. I say register for anything you think you want or need, the registery isnt forcing people to buy off it.

With dd I had 3 bases (one for my car, one for dhs, and one for who ever was watching dd for me {my dad, or sis} this way didnt have to worry about taking base out everytime).. and one infant seat. Now shes older we have one car seat in my car, one in dhs and a third not so big and exspensive one for dad or sis. Its just alot easier than having to constantly worry about taking my car seat or dhs car seat out of our car.. those can be a pain.

Re: Is this too much?

Sounds right to me! I registered for all the same stuff. The snap and go is a lifesaver and use it everyday. Once my ds is a little older we will start using the graco and umbrella stroller depending on what kind of outing we are on.

Def get a 2nd base for the infant seat for dh's car. Sooo helpful not to take it in and out.

I don't think it's too much. If people don't want to buy those things for you, they won't. I registered for 1 infant car seat, an extra base, 2 convertible car seats, a snap n go frame, Peg Perego Pliko P3 and a Maclaren lightweight stroller.

Re: Is this too much?

Not to much at all! If I could give one piece of advice now that my shower is almost here it would be REGISTER REGISTER REGISTER!I didn't want to appear greedy especially having twins so I put 1 of alot of items and just expected we would buy anything else.....its a month before shower and I had to add small items because people werre complaining there was nothing left to buy....You will need those carseats...if they don't get bought oh well...But in my eyes I would rather have them on there and get left.......Some people just see the price and think its wrong(alot of older people) to even ask anyone to buy it.

NO!
That totally makes sense!
I would have done the same thing, but we have 1 car.

I have seen so many girls register like that before.
