I am going to the doctor today and...
I have an appointment today to see my high risk Doctor. The last time I saw him I was 8.5 weeks and he told me to come back in 6 weeks. I'm about 14.5 weeks now...
When I made the appointment with the receptionist, she told me I'd be making two separate appointments - one for each twin. One is 9:15 to 10am and the other is 10 to 10:45 for sonograms. Doctor was already gone so I couldn't ask him about this.
Question: is this my Level 2? I'm not sure what a Level 2 is other than it's a fairly thorough analysis of the baby(s). Judging by the posts on here a level 2 isn't until 18-22 weeks so I'm confused at what they could be doing that is so thorough for me now. I guess I will find out soon enough today. Anyone have any ideas?
TIA

Re: I am going to the doctor today and...
since its a high risk doctor, its probable just a sono to see how they are growing and progressing. Wouldnt say its a level 2, youll probable have that at 20 weeks. High risk doctors do more sonos than reg OBs, so youll get a bit more sonos than someone not in your position. So my guess its just a reg. sono to see how you and baby are doing.

Well I would say it was your ultrascreen but 14.5 weeks is too late for that I has to be done before 14 weeks (usually at 12 weeks).
level II isn't done until sometime between 18 and 22 weeks.
