I just realized
My face wash has salicylic acid in it. I know you aren't supposed to use that during pregnancy- will I be okay if I don't use it anymore?

It's ok to use it. I've used it throughout my pregnancy. Salicylic acid is dangerous if you ingest it and I assume you don't plan on doing that. Most cleansers only contain 2% of it and you use it on such a small surface area of your body. My dr saw no problem with it at all and the more I looked online, the more the "studies" were not entirely conclusive either way. If you don't personally feel comfortable using it then don't, but it's ok to use if you want to.

My Dr. said my Neutogena face wash w/ salictic acid was ok to use, so I did sparingly....Just mention it to your OB, they all have such different rules- lol !!

call your OB - every doc has different thoughts on that - some say Benzoil Peroxide is the no no - some say Salicylic acid is the no no....you might be FINE!!!
