Chicco cortina travel system. Good reviews, good recs from friends and it's easy to use (one button for stroller, infant car seat snaps in place), light weight too.

It's great so far. I also have a super-small car right now (Ford Focus) and it fits in my trunk.

Re: Please recommend the stroller you registered for!
Peg Perego P3. It is light weight (18lbs) pretty easy to fold up, nice padded seats, and it wheels around really nicely. You can make it into a travel system, but you need special straps you can get from the company. I think it only takes certain car seats as well. If you buy a Peg Perego car seat it clicks right into the stroller.
I really like the Cortina travel system as well. I tried it out many times in the store. It is very nice looking in person.

I love the orbit travel system but its soooo expensive.. I put it on my regisry but I doubt I will get it as a gift.. If I do not i think you get 10% off of anything you dont get at BBB.. So I will wait for that..

Re: Please recommend the stroller you registered for!
i registered for the Graco Quattro Tour Sport. It's one pound lighter than the Graco Quattro Tour and with my spinal surgery 3 years ago - that one pound WILL matter to me.
The fold is WONDERFUL....and i've read only WONDERFUL things about it.
Go to the store - play with them, steer them around sections, fold them up - pick them up. That was the KEY for us...

We chose the Babyjogger City Elite. It has the bicycle tires we wanted and is super easy to fold. It also gets an A rating in Baby Bargains.

I am registering for the Graco metrolite, it was recommended to me. However, I am waiting a couple of weeks because the 2009 models have not come in yet

I also bought the Graco Metrolite and I love it. I tried it out in the store and its so light weight but still has all the features. The pattern I love is discountinuing for 2009 so I had to buy it quick : )

Re: Please recommend the stroller you registered for!
we chose the baby jogger city mini. it's only 17 pounds, has a one handed fold, can accommodate from infants up without a carseat adapter (though you can get one for it too), and has a really nice ride (steer one handed, etc.). go to the store and give them all a test drive. also take into consideration what you'll be using it for (ie - a lot of walking, in and out of the car, etc.). we're in the city so needed something that handled well and was light enough for me to carry up and down the subway steps.

I registered for the Chicco Cortina Stroller. I found that it was the easiest to fold and fairly lightweight.

BTDT mom- we have the City Jogger stroller Baby Trend Snap and Go Baby Trend Umbrella Stroller Happy with them all! City Jogger for long walks and working out, Snap and Go by Baby Trend is much better than the Graco one(bigger basket) and ten dollars cheaper, the Baby Trend Umbrella Stroller reclines and has long handles- essential if you are over 5 5'

Re: Please recommend the stroller you registered for!
It was between the Quinny Buzz and the Uppa Baby. We chose the Uppa baby because a few people mentioned to us that the "memory foam" would absorb any leaks and be harder to clean. I still think it is a great stroller though!!!
