Expired HPTs?
So I had a test left over from 2007 and used it this morning. I got a BFN. The test had two lines, do you think it was still a working test? Why do the HPTs expire?

what test was it that it had 2 lines but was negative? I only know tests by name- then I can picture the + or - in my head..LOL
I'm pretty sure expired ones are less effective. I vaguely remember my dr saying they can still give you a BFP but are much less sensitive once they expire.

I am not really sure. But I would use it if it was within a few months on expiring. I dont think I would trust it if it was over 1 year expired.
