We told both our families together at brunch when I was almost 12 weeks. Then we told everyone else a couple of weeks later.

We told my parents aroun 6 weeks because we were visiting New York (we live in London). We couldn't not tell them while we were there.

In the end we kind of just blurted it out when we got to their house. DH had brought something for my dad and I made a joke about he was buttering him up with a special gift and a grandchild all in the same day. They were very excited!

We told DH's mom at Christmas at about 10 weeks - we had gotten a digital photo christmas ornament for her and loaded some pictures, including the sonogram pic into it.

we told them via video... We video recorded our last sono before telling them (10 weeks) and played the tape for them, telling them it was our honeymoon video.

we then also had i love grandma, i love grandpa bibs & a picture frame too...for them to open.

ETA: we did it at just about 12 weeks

I called my mom as soon as the second line popped up. She was in the car with my dad & he figured it out from her excited screaming. We told DHs parents over dinner when I was about 7/8 weeks.

We told Dh parents the second we got the confirmation from the doc. We brought them over a pacifier.

We told my parents a few days later at my sisters bday. I wrapped a bid that said I love my aunt. She was jumping up and down, and everyone was looking at her like she was crazy. Then they realized what was going on.

We couldn't wait to tell everyone. So as soon as we found out- we told everyone.

We told them on Christmas day with t-shirts that said "first time grandma" and "Don't I look too young to be a grandpa?"

Right after running in from POAS and telling DH, I called my mom immediately!! We told DH's family at Christmas, by then I was only a few weeks pregnant.

At Christmas, we gave DH's dad a frame that says "Grandpa makes everything exciting" and DH's mom got a "Grandma's Brag book" photo album.

It was at Christmas. I was 4 weeks at the time, and we figured Christmas would be perfect. We printed out a picture of a baby and "Coming Soon to a Grandparent's House near you". Everyone flipped.

we told them at Christmas too.... we were only 5 weeks and a few days, but we had a sono pic to show.....

I blabbed to them right away after my positive test result ! Another three and a half weeks before I can tell everone else

reading all these posts makes me wish we waited till christmas but i found out 12/9 and the second i got the second line i called my mom, after taking the digital test we called DH's mom in poland, it was 3am her time,
they were soooo excited for us ;)
