why dont dr's call back?
Seriously..I called today and waiting for hubby's SA results which I know they have.
Then i have a ton of questions regarding clomid and why they're not checking me while im on it and a bunch of other things.
this is the 3rd time i've tried getting someone there to call me back...
I cannot say im pleased with this new office

I would find a new dr. TTC is such an important time in your life and you should be able to ask questions and get answers in a timely manner.

This is why (IMO) if you are on a fertility drug, you need to be with a RE rather than an OB.

I finally got in touch with him today. he's not my dr, but will be doing the IUI. Gave me his cell # too which is nice.
He said b/c he is not an RE he doesnt do the sono's but that clomid is pretty much guaranteed to create one follicle. He's been very successful with it.
Im supposed to have an HSG on day 9, but they were "backed up in radiology" so i told him that ...he said HE is the one that does that test and is confused why they would tell me that! I said he should speak with his secretary then b/c i thought it was a lame reason myself.
So he thought it was backwards to do the IUI w/o the HSG first, but he said we can certainly try and if it doesnt work then definitely do the HSG.
He also told me to stop panicking..LOL
easier said than done...

I'm sorry, but as someone who went through 2 years of trying to get pregnant and many fertility treatments, that statement is simply not true. Clomid does not guarantee to create at least one follicle. Myself as well as other women on the IF board can atest to that.
I don't mean to be a debbie downer, but just trying to be realistic. While Clomid does work many many times, there are also many instances where it doesn't. And you simply cannot confrim a surge prior to ovulation without having blood work or sonograms.

i totally agree...i'll be in the process of finding another dr anyway b/c I dont think anyone is really listening to me.
I have concerns..nothing major but i've noticed my cycles are a little different..can be from being off the pill etc.
but both dr's were like, "you're young healthy, dont stress..just relax..."
Ughh..im tired of hearing that sh** already.
