im going there on my cruise next month. are the ports near everything (beaches, shopping)? or do we have to take a cab?

there is definitely shopping in st. maarten right at the port. antigua i went snorkeling and doing do any shopping. but i think there was shopping right there.

We went to Antigua for our honeymoon & it was beautiful!! Unfortunately I don't think that we were near the ports so I'm no help to you (we were at Sandals).
What cruise line are you doing? Is this your 1st cruise?

What cruise line are you doing? Is this your 1st cruise?
we are going on cruiseline called MCS. I never heard of it; I hear its a new Italian line. I have been on cruises before; ths will be my 4th. My hnoneymoon we went on the meditteranean one and last year we went on a costa cruise with the family... It should be nice; looking forward to the nice weather most of all.

Ooh nice - I can't wait to hear your review!! My dh is a cruiser (like 13+ cruises!), so I became one by default once we started dating (I've done 3 so far too).
How was the Mediterranean one? I would love to go there next...

it was great. we went to italy greece and turkey. we went during the heat wave and it was like 110 degrees every day but it was beautiful!!
