I have my 8 week sono tonight...disappointing update
I'm so nervous, anxious, and excited! I've had minimal symptoms, so I'm looking for some proof that a baby really exists in there!
*Update*
The NP thinks I'm only about 6 weeks along. I thought I was 8 weeks but the baby is measuring 6. She said its definitely there and she can see a flicker. I have to go back in 2 weeks for another sonogram. She didn't seem worried.
Should I be worried? My last period was on 11/20 and according to my fertility monitor, I ovulated on 12/7 (CD18). I really think I should be 8 weeks. Could it be that the baby isn't developing? These are going to be the longest 2 weeks ever.

Sounds like what happened with me.... I was about a week or so off....
I wouldn't worry, especially if the nurse was not too concerned.....

If the NP wasn't worried, then I wouldn't be. They know what they are looking for on the sono's. Unless you were using a fertility monitor and/or charting, you really don't know for sure when you ovulated so it may have been later than you think.
Don't worry- a flicker means heartbeat which is a great sign!
Being only at 6 wks would explain the minimal symptoms too- usually morning sickness doesn't start until around the 7th or 8th week.

You could have implanted late and that is why the dates are off, sono measurements are not 100% accurate adn can vary a few days depending on the tech doing it and the position of everything, or any other number of things. I wouldn't worry about it! You saw a HB which is GREAT!!

If you went to a regular OB there machines are behind 5 days.. Thats what my OB said.. My high risk said I was 8 weeks and my ob said I was 7.. HTH!!

i have to agree and was just going to type this out myself. I was a late implanter as well and was off by 3 days...they thought they should see a heartbeat and didn't. It was pure torture...
take solace in that unfortunately, it does happen to people and it WILL be okay!!!!

Try not to worry. If they saw something already, thats good news. They probably just want to recheck to make sure you and  are doing ok. Good luck and try not to stress, positive thoughts
