Great thread! It's keeping me focused as to what needs to be done before the baby is born. Three weeks left to go!!!

Already finished:::

* Baby's bassinet...

* Nursery is finished...

* Ordered special order glider...

* Changing table items set up...

* Did the hospital tour...

* Attended childbirth classes with dh...

* Put baby clothes and other items inside dresser...

* High chair is installed and in the dining room!

* Stroller is assembled...

* Bouncy chair is assembled...

* PnP is assembled...

* Bought my Fleet enemas to TRY and avoid crapping in the delivery room...



Still left to do:::

* Wait for my special order glider to arrive...

* Buy a few binkies

* Finish packing my hospital bag...

* Install car seat/get it approved...

* Contact the baby's pediatrician...

* Contact hospital for breastfeeding class...

* Preregister at hospital to avoid a long wait the day of delivery...

* Write out my phone list for dh...

* Assemble swing...

* Rent a breast pump (at the hospital?)...

I had an internal last Wed and there was zero progress, my OB said nothing was going on.

I go back this Wed so let's see if there's progress. I did find out that I tested positive for Strep B, so I know that I have to get to the hospital asap once water breaks.

now that Christmas is over, I'll be getting my bag together and shopping for the last minute things.

I also need to put my contact lists together

my furniture is in, but nothing is being delivered until we're home. will sleep in the co-sleeper

I still can not believe how fast the time has gone

We're having the car seat installed today and going to Costco to stock up on some things. DH painted the nursery and the furniture is being delivered tomorrow. I washed a load of clothes and receiving blankets. We started meeting with peds and have an appt with one tomorrow morning. I have my first internal on Friday

I'm going to hopefully have my bag packed by the end of the week. My mom stored a ton of hand me downs from my cousin so she washed e/t down the other day. While I'm in the hospital her and my dad will bring it all over so it's not in the way before the baby's born.

I can't believe Jan is just 3 days away!

I can't believe its almost January.

Things I still need to do:
-car seat base installations (DH did my car)
-pack my hospital bag (have stuff laid out, but need to physically put it in the bag)
-put away Christmas stuff
-put together swing

Yesterday I went for my NST and of course DD put on a show. This was the first time DH was able to come with me because he had the day off, so I think she was just showing off for him. This little girl wants nothing to do with any monitors. 2 she set the alarm off because she moved and the monitor lost her heartbeat. DH got to see her move around and when her HB went up to 177. Then I had my fluid checked and it was good. DD has her head up on my right side, facing down and her feet putting pressure down below. I think basically she wanted to tell everyone to kiss her little butt.

Afterwards, we went to the Source Mall and I bought her some more clothes at Old Navy & Carters. We also hit Cheesecake Factory and ate like a pig.

Its only 5 more days till little Shaylie is here and it can not come soon enough. I am beyond uncomfortable. Tonight DH and I are going to Queens Center so I can get some Cinnibon. Well my dr wanted me to walk around more, so what a better place to do it than in a mall.

I'm ready I just wanted to pick up a few more items from my registry, but I'm waiting for my rewards to come. My glider should be here tomorrow!!!!
and I swear I will finish paci=king my hospital bag today! lol

Left to do:

1. Call/meet pediatrician
2. attend breastfeeding class this week
3. preregister at the hospital this week
4. install car seats
5. rent a breastfeeding pump

The glider won't be here for a few more weeks (probably won't get it until February )... I waited too long to order it. It's awesome, so it's worth the wait.

Oh yea, Christmas decorations will be put away this week.

Other than this, I'm DONE!

I have another OB appt tomorrow so let's see if there's progress.

My bag is 90% packed

the room isn't ready but I'm not stressing since will be sleeping in co-sleeper in our room

I've been feeling ok, just really hard to sleep at night.

Hope all the other mommies to be are doing well!!!!

I had my ob appt yesterday to discuss my c-section. Shaylie's heartbeat was good and strong but the doctor had a hard time finding it - what else is new, I have a difficult daughter and she's not even a teenager. Shaylie is breech and her little head has been pressing against my diaphragm so breathing has been difficult along with sleepiing. My bag is almost packed, just need to put the rest of my toiletries in which I'll do Friday.

My c-section is scheduled for 3pm on Friday, but the doctor is going to try and get me in earlier because she doesn't want me to go that long without eating or drinking.

My csection is scheduled for Monday at 9:30 a.m

We are going to be mommies on Monday it's all so CRAZY!!!

DH went to pick up my father at Lauardia, hes staying with me until the 18th from Florida.

My glider and breast pump came today those were the alst 2 things I needed. THE ONLYYYY thing left to do is finish packing that darn hospital bag!! lol

I'm gonna finish it up 2nite before they all come back!
