Re: January mommies!!!!!!
Well, its looks like I'm actually going to be a dec mommy, but I'll play!
I think we got done with everything
- nursery is done - car seats installed - bag is packed - pediatrician is chosen - cord blood kits are ready to go - pack n play set up, also swing - baby clothes, blankets, etc. are washed (although we might need preemie size, that will have to be a last minute thing when they are born)
anything else I'm missing?

Re: January mommies!!!!!!
WE still need to do the following:
Furniture is in....we just got to tell them when to deliver. Which means, we still got to clear out the room.
We have all of the BIG items on the Registry with the exception of the Bassinet. I am not crazy about the selection out there but will get it this week.
Need to install the carseat
Hospital tour (it was cancelled this past weekend)
Buy decorating items for the babies room.
Pediatrician-Got to narrow it down, but I have an idea who I want.
Pack my hospital bag.
Buy Nightgown and nursing bras
I am delivering at 36 weeks, so I am going to buy a few items in preemie size
Wash some of the baby clothes.
Phew.....that's it.

Re: January mommies!!!!!!
Oh, boy, I thought I was doing so well with e/t! I haven't done any washing of the babies clothes, packed hospital bag, and still need to buy several things. DH's sister bought us the carseat so once she gives that to us we can install it. I did take a free breastfeeding class and the hospital tour last weekend. The furniture is being delivered at the very end of this month so DH will be putting a fresh coat of paint on the walls a few days prior.
We still need to find a pediatrician. Good thing I'm off for 2 weeks; hopefully I can get alot of this done!
It sounds like your on the ball!

Re: January mommies!!!!!!
I'm on vacation for the next 2 weeks so I'm hoping to get alot accomplished. I started packing my hospital bag. We emptied out the big stuff from the baby's room and today I'm going to clean out the closet and mop the floor. Tomorrow I'm going to BBB to pick up a few things. I'm going to have the car seat installed hopefully this weekend and then taking it to Hassel to have it inspected. Furniture is being delivered next week.
DH and I are going to the supermarket to stock up on some groceries. I think I'm going to make a few things to freeze.
I can't believe January is right around the corner! Good luck to everyone!

I did with my last c-section. I was in sooo mcuh pain from not being able to go to the bathroom. That is the only thing I am dreading this time around. I had little to no pain from the actual surgery but the constipation pain was awful!!
I would get stool softners now too just in case

Re: January mommies!!!!!!
We still have to:
install car seat bases (next weekend)
put together the swing (once we put away Christmas decorations, so probably weekend after new years)
do my hospital bag. Have everything laid out, but just need DH to bring the carry-on down from the attic (poor DH works 2 jobs)
hospital tour (only if DH can get off one night during the week, if not I may take the tour with my mom or sister).
buy undies for post-pardum (I'm a thong gal, that needs to change)
buy pads for post-pardum (tampon gal here)

Re: January mommies!!!!!!
My last obgyn appt. before my scheduled c-section (1/6) is next Friday! I've been going weekly since about 27 weeks. It really flew by! In one week I gained 4 lbs. W T Fluck! I think I've been going to too many holiday parties!
Everything is coming together. I just need the nursing bras and preemie clothes! Also, I am doing my maternity photo shoot with Summerlyn Photography this Saturday!! If you haven't seen her website....check it out! She is one of LIF vendors!

Re: January mommies!!!!!!
We're making some progress...
*Well on our way with laundry - blankets, stretchies, onesies, 0-3 clothes, bath, is all washed. - Need to start bassinet/crib loads
*Started packing my bag
*Chose and washed baby's coming home outfit, packed.
*All important reg items are completed/fulfilled.
*Went on hospital tour and took C-section class, as the Beepers is still breech.
This week...
*Continue with all of the above and install car seat bases.
*Making a home for feeding supplies in kitchen - bottles, sterlizer, formula accessories, etc
*Waiting for furniture to arrive so I can actually set and decorate nursery.
*Finalize pediatrician
