Re: Marley and Me
We saw it yesterday. People in the theater were blowing their noses right along with me!

I saw it yesterday and a part of me wishes I did not go
Movie was so good, but I wish I was home watching it and not in a theatre filled with people. I was a mess!

Re: Marley and Me
I saw the movie last weekend with one of my friends, and I definately wasn't prepared for it. OMG! It was sad. I went home afterwards and wouldn't stop hugging and kissing my dogs.

Re: Marley and Me
Being that I cried like a baby reading the book (I almost couldn't finish it), I don't know if I'll be able to handle the movie.
It looks adorable though.

Re: Marley and Me
It was one of the rare times when I enjoyed the book AND the movie (still the book more). I cried like a baby at the end How wonderful that Marley's spirit will live on forever...

Just saw it last night with DH. I cried like a baby but loved it! Thought the book was so much better though.

Re: Marley and Me
I loved the book I'm hesistant to see the movie because the book was so good, but maybe after reading this thread I'll go see it.
I made the mistake of finished the book while waiting for jury duty, haha, I held back the full on tears, but my eyes were defintely watery. I just looked at the ground for a while, haha.

Re: Marley and Me
The funny thing is my husband was actually MAD at me for bringing him to the movie!! It was the 1st time ever that I saw a movie make him cry, and he left there pisssed that he saw it being that our pitbull is getting up there in age!
Now that a few days have passed he talks about what a great movie it was! He just wasn't prepared since he never read the book!!
DEF makes you appreciate your own furbabies that are waiting home for you!
its so true when he says how a dogs love is unconditional as long as you show it love. They could care less if we're smart, stupid, rich, poor, etc.
I love my dogs And I truly miss my Chloe Girl who is in Heaven waiting for us

Re: Marley and Me
I read the book and the book was GREAT!!!
The movie... not so much. The more I think back to it the more disappointed I am with it. I felt like the dog got lost among everything else that was going on... NOT a fan. (I will say though that I did go thru a hand-full of tissues).
