Lets talk maternity pants...

I need some pants for work, where can I find the nicest maternity dress pants???

Also- I dont get the whole mid belly, low rise belly... how are they supposed to fit?

I went through the same thing with my son....Under the belly is so uncomfortable to me, reminds me of low rise jeans which I can NOT do...
Mid belly cuts my little "bump" in half and looks terrible...

So i have bought 1 pair of maternity jeans and they are full belly...so comfy too!

I am finding it difficult to find SMALL full belly pants though

Motherhood had nice dress pants...they are on the cheaper side and they have that new material for the full belly panels. I love them, they are so comfy. their pants also come in lengths and since im on the short side it comes in handy

I haven't bought any dress pants, but I saw some in target over the weekend. I know old navy has small and extra small pants, not sure about dress pants but I bought a pair of corduroy in extra small there. Both target and old navy have decent prices also. I refuse to spend alot of $$ on maternity clothes. Good luck shopping.

Gap has the nicest "work" pants that I have found. You can find them in the back of baby gap at Roosevelt Field. I had to hem mine, since I am vertically challenged. But they fit nice. I also agree that at this point, the full belly is more comfy. Maybe the low or mid rise won't be so bad when I get bigger, but, for now, it just hurts a little.

I hear they are having great sales!

My favorite pants while PG were Gap ones. I forgot which ones they were, I guess low but it had a very thick band. They don't dig at all and fit great. I have a pair of dark wash jeans that are wide leg in a size 4 I can mail you if you want them. They are a regular length.

Motherhood has been the best for me for dress pants. I wear the full belly and its very comfortable!!

Jeans I find the most comfortable-Old Navy full panel

I purchased a pair of jeans & capris that wear low rise and ouch did it hurt after my belly got bigger

I am having the same issue !!! -

The stuff from Motherhood washes and wears like sh*t IMO - I bought a very cute dres that I am so in love with - I washed it ONCE, on gentle, with two other black dresses - It looks like it's 10 years old and I could wear it to scrub toilets !! - I am so aggravated w/ everthing I purchased from that store, w/ the exception of a pair of jeans I have not worn yet.
I will not be buying anything else there -
The pants @ Mimi are $85 - $100 and IMO, again, do NOT look like I would have paid $100 for them -

The Gap seems to have the best 'dress pants' - They are $$, but when you hit a sale it's worth it. And they wear well too - Like normal Gap quality stuff-

I usually get Old Navy online. I just ordered some because of the sale and the promotion thay had. When i was PG with my DS, I had a BIG belly and Old Navy and Motherhood is all I wore

I bought a bunch of pants from Destination Maternity and ordered a few online from Old Navy.

Honestly the quality of these pants are a lot worse than what I am used to but they are super comfortable. I feel really unstylish and pretty much straight up frumpy. They are fine for work.

i don't envy you all that have to dress for work.. i live in scrubs for work and sweats for home..lol.. if i go out i'm in the full belly panel jeans! and i only have 1 pair! i got them at Macys..

Mimi Maternity has worked best for me. I agree with the Motherhood comment...the pants just dont look good over time.

I am having trouble with pants also. I bought 2 pairs of work pants from old navy with the "low" waist and I hate them. My favorite pair right now is a pair of jeans with the high, over the belly panel. I got them at Burlington Coat Factory. Go figure!

i HATE motherhood pants also! I have a pair from Nordstrom that are mavi and a pair from gap..both full belly ...IMO the half belly makes you look like your fat and not pregnant...it kind of cuts your belly in half....Motherhood clothing doesnt even wear well the FIRST time you wear it! I hated everything they had in there and despite the amazing prices I just couldn't waste the money. I'd rather spend 85 on jeans and get 2 good pairs then 5 crappy pairs from there....JMO.....HTH!

all my dress pants are motherhood....i get them at maternity works in the source mall - i love their secret belly fit.....so comfy! they also wash great...i wash them on gentle and hang them - no ironing necessary!
