How do you use the OPKs?
Now that TBAF arrived, I am going to get an OPK for this upcoming month. I determined that my cycle is 30 days, and it has been regular, which is good. I would imagine that text book, I would probably O around CD 14-15.
How do you use the OPKs? When should I start? And are we better off BDing at any certain point in the day? (DH loves the AM)

tips for using OPKs...
Once you have the box - it will tell you when to start testing based on your cycle length.
Bd'ing at any time really doesn't matter - do what works for you and is most FUN and ENJOYABLE!!!!
1. try to do a 4 hour hold - you can do a 3 hour - but i always personally always tried for as close to a 4 hour as possible.
2. try to limit what you drink during your hold. the hormone you are testing for can be diluted by whatever you drink.
3. test between 2:00 and 8:00. The hormone you are testing for is one that builds while you are awake (which is why FMU is a no no unless you are using the clear blue easy fertility monitor ((cbefm)))
i never tested past once i got my smiley or dark enough lines - but that is your own personal decision...i know many girls do..

shiiiiiiiiiiiit I haven't done that the past two days, b/c I didn't know.
(good thing I'm only on CD 12!! & we BDd for fun not for pregnancy purposes CD 7 & 11..so even if by some sort of screw up, I should be "safe", right? oye)
