Our dog Ozzie picks up shoes and carries them around when he's happy or excited! I REFUSE to leave my shoes on the floor b/c I don't want his saliva and drool all over them! So, it's only DH's shoes that he can have

He also has to "make his bed" before he will lie down! Regardless of if he's on his own doggie bed, or laying on his "spot" on our couch - he will fluff it and scratch at it and mess around with it with his paws for up to 10 mins before he finally lays down! It's hysterical to watch!

My cat "talks back" when scolded. Like a defiant teenager.
If she is doing something she shouldn't and I yell at her- she stops and walks away but the whole time she is bitching in this nasty little voice like she is annoyed with me.
I swear, she only uses this voice when being scolded... it is hilarious.
I tell her "..and don't sass me either!"

One of my horses hugs. Whenever you take off his halter, he pulls you against his chest and holds you there with his head until you hug his head.

My other horse has his schedule down pat and he will whinny (read scream) if you're late feeding him or letting him in his stall, etc. He's like an alarm clock.

When we give our dog Dozer a treat he doesn't eat it right away, 1st he has to throw it into the air & then pounce on it, then he leaves it on the ground & runs around the house, every time he passes it he will pounce on it & play bite at it but then keep running. Finally he will stop & eat it.

Also he LOVES LOVES LOVES any kind of towel or washcloth (dirty or clean) He rubs all over them & tries to bite them.
Every time it rains we dry him off when he comes inside & as soon as we finish he tries to grab the towel from us.

Scooty will eat ketchup, tomato sauce and potato bread...the vet said tonight that he has never heard of that...another thing she does is bite her back nails...you can hear it a mile away!

She also likes to steal my pillow during the night..and always the SAME one...I don't know how she does it!

Rufio loves the taste of lotion. If my legs are exposed and I try to put lotion on he goes nuts and licks my legs, even after it's all rubbed in. He's JONESIN for the lolo.

He also has a thing for shoes (bad I know) but the wierd thing is....he tries to get them seconds after I PUT THEM ON MY FEET.

Oh and last but not least, he's gotten extremely lazy....with putting his tonge back in his mouth. He is 100% black and will just sit with a bit of his bright pink tongue sticking out. It's probably the funniest thing I've ever seen.Some times its just the tip but other times its like I have Stimpy as a dog.

My "little" cat (comparatively speaking, that is) tries to eat her dry food by hand. She will use her paw to scoop it out of the dish, piece by piece. In 8 years, she's never managed to get one piece of kibble to her mouth. But she's still trying!

My large cat has a think for feet, specifically DH's. He wears boots to work; when he comes home & takes them off, the cat will stick his entire head in, and just hang out there. OR, he'll find DH's slippers, and stick one paw in each, and just cuddle up on top of them.

she hates windshield wipers..she can't be in a car when it is raining..she goes ballistic!
she eats hair out of the bathroom drain..so disgusting

I have a few....
My dog Chloe LOVES to steal clothes from the laundry. When I have the basket of clothes out she sticks her noise in it and searches until she pulls out underwear and walks away to sit down and play with it!
My cat Blackjack lays in front of the waterbowl and instead of putting his tongue in the bowl, he puts his paw in and drinks the water from his paw.

I thought of something else. When her water bowl is empty she sticks her paws in it and does a digging motion. Her bowl is metal so it makes a sound and then she looks up at me and gives me the did you hear I need more water face? It's so cute.

Skittles, my black cat, sucks on a blanket every night before going to sleep. Tigger,the orange one, picked up this habit and sucked on a teddy bear.

Tigger also likes to tap us when we sleep sometimes and if you sleep next to him, he has to "pet" you with his paw.

Skittles lives for his belly rubs and that soft blanket. The blanket in question was a wedding gift and when we did our TYs, I remember writing that card from Skittles!
