SHould I call my OB or an RE first?

My OB said that if I didnt get pg this month to call him.... but I'm wondering if I should just go straight to an RE?

Hi - how old are you? How many cycles have you been trying for?

I think there are "guidelines" to follow, but overall, what's most important is that you follow your heart on this. Your reg OB can certainly start you off with CD3 bloodwork if you're comfortable with him/her.

Do you need a referral for your RE?

If not, then I'd honestly go right to the RE just based on your super short LP and the fact that you said your ob/gyn just dismissed it.

you may want to talk to the OB regarding WHICH RE they like....ya know? Maybe in the very least, give them a call - see if you can speak to the doc on the phone and hear what they have to say... ??
