u girls are the best im feeling better, feel like i keep missing my day. also one more thing how long do u lay down after bd i laid down for 40mins got up moved a around 5mins n it all cameout is thay okay

I try to lay down for 30 minutes.
However, I have plenty of friends who jumped right out of bed and have multiple children.

I lay down for 30 minutes, although i don't really think it makes a difference.

After my IUI, my RE had me lay for 15 minutes - so I'm sure that would be good enough.

Many many people have gotten pregnant even with going to the bathroom right after BDing. The sperm will go where they need to go.. what comes out is just the fluid that carries the sperm.

I usually try to BD at night with DH that way I can lay down until mornign and try and make sure none of the little swimmers try to escape. After 5 nights of this, only once did a few little swimmers escape. Hope this helps.

yea i do the nite thing too but sometimes during the day i got stuff to do n cant take an hr in bed so hopefully im safe with the 40mins thanks girls

Not sure if it ever helped but I always elevated my hips/butt for at least 15 minutes after BD.
