Cheap nail places?

I need to get tips put on for a wedding this weekend and I dont want to spend more than $30 for acrylics...not a permanent french. I remember getting my nails done for like $20 in high school. Any good cheap places? I don't mind driving!

Seriously, I won't get them done for that price. Cheap places *Usually* mean cheap service and I won't trust that they are using clean files and stuff. IMO I would either pay the normal $55 average or not have it done. Its not worth getting a nasty infection for $20!Chat Icon

Well I am not going to pay that much for nails I don't wear and the bride is requiring we get them. I have had my nails done at places that were cheaper and never had a problem.

All the places I go to in Queens are about $18 for a full set and $14 for a fill in. If you go midweek sometimes they knock a dollar off the price.

Re: Cheap nail places?

if the bride is requiring them- she is should pay for them

I really can't believe that she thinks that people are actually going to look at the bridesmaids nails

if they are- she did something VERY wrong

If its not something you plan on keeping up with - why not try the ones you get at the drugstore -

kinda like the press on nails - they have come a long way. Some of the girls in my office have used them and they really look natural.

I know...don't even get me started on this bride and her requirements. I am a BM more out of obligation than anything else...There were a few major issues I flipped about (a hot pink ruffly short BM dress????) so I am letting the nails slide.

This is definitely a wedding befitting WT Bridezilla status Chat Icon And it's OOS too Chat Icon
