While I'm asking for advice - Bags
I'm asking all these questions because I'll be coming into some birthday money this month...
I've given up on the Louis. My 40% offer bit the dust (the mom was a nut and stopped talking to me)
I would like a nice bag that can carry a lot of stuff without looking like a big bag. I love soft bags with lots of pockets, and something stylish without looking trendy
I do not want a Kathy Van Zeeland bag, or a Le Sport Sac (I have a few of both)
Again - I'm looking for something that can look casual or dressy depending on my outfit

have you looked at the michael kors bags? they might be a little on the "trendy" side (although i am not a very trendy person so what do i know  ) but i think they have some beautiful bags, in all different sizes.

my fav site to look at bags is bag borrow or steal since they have all the newest and best bags, all in one place.

Great suggestions, ladies!!! Thank you... I saw a Jimmy Choo bag that I love but it would be that bag or daycare for my child. Goddam priorities

I have 2 Hype bags that I have beaten the hell out of for years (commuting to NYC) and they are still looking awesome and holding up well.
I also have a Cole Haan that I LOVE - (very soft leather, LOTS of pockets and space)

love my marc jacobs turlock bag
400-450 very durable and super soft leather
the collection has tons of style offerings and colors- this is just one example...

what about a Francesco Biasia or go to Lord & Taylor...they have some great bags there. Even TJ Maxx has some $$ bags now and then.
