Update to Anyone Else Have This

CD 18 and 19 I had spotting. Today is CD 20 and --- I HAVE MY PERIOD! The last three months (the first off of BCP since 2004) I had gotten my period on CD 33/34. I started the CBEFM on CD 10 and not once ovulated. I'm officially confused and it appears my body is as well. Luckily, I already have an appointment scheduled with my OB/GYN.

I just found this tidbit of info rather interesting:

"Mid cycle bleeding happens in almost 30% of the women and is thought of as normal. A sudden increase and fall in the estrogen level during the ovulation period weakens the endometrium thus causing the bleeding." from http://www.targetwoman.com/articles/mid-cycle-bleeding.html

According to my past months of charting now is my O time, so this theory would make sense.

No, it's full red and clotting AF. Very heavy with lots of cramping. I'm starting to think this is an actual period and not "mid-cycle bleeding".

I know that it can take a while for your cycle to go back to "normal" once you stop your BC. I'm sure it's just your body adjusting to it still. Good luck! Just think...if it is AF then that means you get to start BDing soon!

I wish. I'm not even sure when I O. The last two months I O'd around CD 20-25 with AF coming on Day 33. The previous month I tested via OPK and not once got a positive. God knows if and when I'll O this cycle.
