before you ovulate?? we started bding every other day from cd 5. could i have gotten pregnant already?

im on cd11 now. we started bding every other day starting cd5. and two days in a row yesterday and the day before.

Do you mean already had AF and now CD5 and not ovulating yet?

Yes, AF could be "fake" from your last cycle and you are PG.

Some people have bleeding and not realizing they are PG.

no i had af last month. then started bding every other day after starting cd 5. not i am on cd 11 and wondering if icould be pregnant yet. havent o'd yet this month. didnt know if it was possible to conceive before o'ing. may be a dumb question, sorry.

if you haven't o'ed yet, there is a chance you can still get pregnant before O. Sperm can live anywhere from 2-5 days in the right CM. So in theory, if you o (hypothetically) on day 14, sperm could be waiting for the egg from your BDing on CD10 or 11..KWIM? But as of now, if you havent o'ed yet, then no, you cant be pregnant

ok i get u. so if i dont get to bd today, since i bd'ed yesterday and the day before, if i o tomorrow, i coud be ok. because, i forgot to test yest and today like an idiot, so now im all nervous that i will miss my window... and i dont think ill be able to bd today because dh wont be home till like 2 or 3 am.

Unless sperm is still in you after you BD and you O very shortly after, then yes.

Otherwise you cannot get PG if you don't O and sperm is not in you about the same time you O.

ok so we'll just cross our fingers and say that hopefully im safe since i bd'ed sunday and monday and if i did o yesterday or today and i bd tomorrow, then i covered my bases as much as i could. for me girls!!!!

you can't get pregnant before you ovulate. there has to be an egg to meet the sperm.

You can get pregnant if you ovulate while there are some sperm living inside your body.

So, you can BD a day or two before you ovulate, and then when that egg is released, it can be fertilized. But the egg can't get fertilized before it is released from your ovary. Does this make sense?

ovulation is required to get PG. When you ovulate you release the egg and if the sperm meets egg...Well there ya go
