For me, it depends on the bag...I don't mind a single logo on it but I'm over the whole look of the "repeating" logos all over bags!

I have both. If I am in all black I will carry a bag with logos but I also have leather pieces that are classy and classic so it depends on my mood.

Why is it dumb? Why else would you get a logo bag, if not to show everyone who the maker is? Isn't that what you're doing?  I never said that people who have logo bags are not down to earth, so I dont' know where that is coming from.

No logos for me.
If it has a logo, I prefer black on black, or brown on brown, so you can't really see the logo.
I pretty much never wear clothing with logos either. I know this post mostly asked about purses, but someone mentioned clothes earlier too.

I was responding to your label w**** comment. ETS I have an LV bag I got it not to show who the maker is but because it is a classic design end of story.

I agree - I have to say I usually buy no logo's but because I am cheap and have a mortgage and car payments, etc; however I would love to have the money to spend on everything designer, honestly. So although I do have a few designer things with logo's, I don't have much.

The only logo bag I like is the LV or Gucci because they are classic and timeless.
I'm not a fan of the coach logo bags but I do love their all leather bags.
I can't see myself dropping $400 on a logo bag that will be out of style in a few years. If I pay that kind of money I want it to be something I can keep as a staple in my closet for many years

Depends on the bag.
I buy it for the style, not the logo.
If I like the style of the bag and it has a logo on it, then fine.
But that's not the sole REASON I buy it.
I'd buy it just as quickly if I liked it and it DIDN"T have a logo on it....

For me it depends on the bag. I use to have a few Dooney and Coach logo bags and now I do not prefer them. I would go for a logo bag with LV or Gucci (I think of it more as a design than a logo). Other than that, I like basic leather bags that are non-logo and of good quality.

I'm right there with you in the minority - I have always liked Coach bags and have various styles from the all leather to the mini logos to the larger logo, tone on tone logos etc. I personally do NOT like the coach bags that are multi colored and all crazy, but that's because I like a more classic style that I can wear with different things, but I do have a number of different Coach bags that I think are more classic style, even the ones that do have the logos on them.
As for other designers, same applies - I like some logos and some plain, just depends.

Here is my thought on logos, whether it's a bag, sneakers, a shirt, etc. Now, everything has a tag on it somewhere or insignia that indicates who made it. Kind of no escaping that. But when the item has full on logo action going on, it's like giving free advertising to the company. So essentially, you are spending hundreds of dollars to save the company THOUSANDS of dollars to advertise. To me, it's silly.
Exactly how I feel. I will not carry a bag with a logo.
