Who has been to Madonna...
I had my level II done by the techs in dr. H. office but this time they want me to go to their office. Dr. Dolisi just marked off on the paper Maternal-fetal consultation. Does that mean they are just gonna ask me a million questions and not do a sono or anything? I tried to explain to the secretary what they were looking for and she seem preoccupied with something else since me making an appt was a big deal as it was. Im gonna call monday and see if they had any cancellations since my appt isnt untill thursday and i guess ask then if they will do a sono. Just curious if there is gonna be a doctor or another TECH. thanks girls!

hmmm, not sure what that is...he didn't give you an idea?
are you high risk? If you consult at Maddona with a doc on thursday it will be dr. mackenzie, he's very nice but very very cautious.

What do you mean by very very cautious? I didnt think i was high risk but i guess with the small spotting and pain im having they want a further work up.

I don't want to say he's an alarmist, but he will tell you worse case scenario with everything and will make it sound that is whats going to happen. DH calls him Dr. Doom.

Is he the only doctor with the practice. I feel like im scared enough dont need to be more scared. Thursday cant come soon enough. I hope he does and US

I am a patient of Dr. H's and as far as I know Madonna is where they send high risk pregnancies. Madonna also does amnio and CVS testing.

I am pretty sure there are 4 drs at madonna. at least there were when i had ds 21 months ago. Mackenzie likes to test for everything and is very thorough (at least he was when I was in the hospital).
I would call Dr H or Dolisi and ask exactly what they want done. I know when I went there for a growth sono and biophysical the girl thought I needed my cervix checked. I was like ummm no I am pretty sure that is one thing we are not concerned with at all! Good luck!

Really? I found him to be very thorough and comforting. I saw him exclusively when I was PG with G and had a complete previa. I thought he was wonderful, but I like people who are blunt and give me the whole story. (And at that point I had read so many bad things really nothing he would say could shock me.)
