Re: Most you ever spent on.....
Most is probably close to $20 for one of the salon types...and it didn't do jack $hit!!
I always wind up going back to Pantene...although now I am on an organic kick...Nature's Gate. It's about $7 / bottle.

I now buy shampoo and conditioner that costs between $20-$26/bottle.
I've tried every shampoo there is. Pantene, V05, Suave, Loreal, Aussie, Citri-shine, Mane and Tail, Neutrogena, John Frieda, Garnier, EVERY SINGLE one.
Now I'm trying all the expenisve stuff. I've tried Wen, Philosophy, Biolage and Pureology so far, now I'm on Nexxus. I will NOT stop until I find a favorite shampoo.
My hair is shoulder length, higlighted, I don't use any styling products, it's very fine and it's SO frizzy.
I want to find a shampoo/conditioner that will make my hair soft, shiny, and lovely.
Have you ever tried Matrix? It comes in an orange bottle and I love it.

I've been using Infusium 23 for almost three years now. It's between $4-6 a bottle.
I've tried a lot of expensive brands and haven't found anything I'm willing to keep spending money on.

I used to use expensive shampoo, but honestly I don't see a difference. I usually use Pantene now.

Re: Most you ever spent on.....
I only use Kerastase in my hair...after I had DD, I lost a lot of hair so my hairdresser recommended it. I loved it so I continued to use it.
It's really pricey- probably around $30/bottle for shampoo and a little more for the conditioner.

That's the only one I haven't tried... The Biolage weighed my hair down and the next day it was so greasy... I rinse the conditioner really well too.
I figured if Biolage weighed it down, the Sleek.Look would be worse. I do hear good things about it so maybe I'll give it a shot. Thanks!

What's the most you ever spent on shampoo, etc.??
I just bought Kenra shampoo and conditioner for $30. I was floored and plan on hiding that tip bit from DH forever. But I have the Keratin treatment in my hair so I need the sulfate free stuff..but $17 a bottle.
Add yours.
I have the Keratin treatment too ... my my cousin owns a hair salon so I get what I need for free thank god. That stuff is soo expensive.
ETA: I love the Tigi S Factor Sulfate Free Shampoo alot. Not that I think it's cheaper, just thought I'd throw out another brand you may like to try one day :)
Just FYI- the Organix line (available at Target, Stop and Shop and CVS) is Sulfate free and about $6.50
thank you both. I'll keep them in mind.
