Cloth diapers?
Does anyone use them/planning to use them?
I have had a few people advise me against because they feel it's a PITA process to clean them, or "they leak".
Any advice/details about the process is appreciated!!

Re: Cloth diapers?
Yup, I am and people think I'm nuts But I am really excited about it, the diapers they have now are so cute and most of them actually look like regular disposables. If you want detailed info check out diaper swappers. They have boards for questions and I have learned a ton of stuff just by reading the posts there. If you have any specific questions let me know. I'll be starting in a two weeks so I'll have some better reccomendations then!!
Oh and I have a bunch of diferent types of diapers to try in the beginning to see what fits and what system we like the best. So far the pocket diapers are the cutest (check out BumGenius 3.0!!)

Re: Cloth diapers?
I am planning on it and I know everyone thinks I am nuts, including DH. Unfortunately, I don't think I can use them in the beginning because with twins they are usually born pretty small. Also I have heard with the liquidy poop its really hard to clean the cloth ones. So I think I will be using 7th generation diapers for the first month or so. I am also looking into g-diapers - they are disposable but biodegradable. But I am most definitely going to try the cloth diapering. I will never use the traditional disposable diaper. I already told my mom and DH if anyone gets us pampers or huggies, etc. I am returning them.

Re: Cloth diapers?
My dad's girlfriend's daughter (still with me?), used them at the beginning with her first. She is very crunchy and exactly the kind of person who you would think would deal with all the inconveniences and stick to it.
It didn't last long. It was a total PITA.
Plus, it's not really as cost-efficient as it appears to be-- and it's definitely not time-efficient.

Re: Cloth diapers?
I used them with DS and will again this time. They really are not that difficult to use.
I really got disgusted once I saw the bags and bags of diapers I was throwing out every week -- not only does it take disposable diapers forever to decompose, they are full of untreated human waste -- absolutely disgusting. I had to look into alternatives.
I used a mix of cloth and disposable since DS goes to daycare 2x a week. My advice is invest in quality diapers (yes, they are expensive, but they do save you $$ in the long-run, especially if you use them for a second child). I used Fuzzi Bunz and Bum Genius pocket diapers.
