Opinions Please
I am not a frequent poster but would really appreciate your opinions!
My OB feels I am at risk of preterm labor... I am 24 weeks now, and get lots of BH, and have been for a while now... probably since 17 weeks, but has been more frequent recently...
DH and I live in CA, so flying home at 6 months for my shower is not advisable.
What do you think should be done...
1-cancel the shower
2-send DH in my place for the shower?

I hate to say this, but I would cancel it. No need to put yourself at risk, and you don't want to Not have DH there god forbid something should happen

Maybe they can reschedule it for after you have the baby and are ready to travel.

Cancel it. I live in another state from aLL our family and Im not flying up to NY for a shower. They are just sending gifts down to us. Why risk anything for a shower. KWIM.

I agree.
My son was earlier than expected & was a guest of honor at the shower.
Most important thing to have is the car seat.
