Tomorrow is the dreaded 1 hr Glucose test....
I have been dreading this test, since I found out I was pregnant.
I just  I pass. Is that drink really that bad???

I had the orange drink, I've heard rumors of a grape drink...honestly it tastes like really sweet flat orange soda...it wasn't great, especially at 10AM when thats the last thing I wanted, but it wasn't AWFUL either, defiinitely doable...

Its REALLY not bad at all! The drink isn't too bad, I had the orange one, just refrigerate it and its ok, its kind of a thick sweet drink, but its small, you'll be fine!!!

I went for mine on Friday, and they had the drink at the office. If you can, go for the fruit punch. I was really scared about how it would taste, but it tasted just like Hawaiian Punch! I downed the whole thing (about 12 oz.) in under 2 minutes! It was ice cold and refreshing...AHHHHH

The drink wasn't THAT bad. I don't like super sweet drinks though and it kind of burned my throat but i am a wimp.
I had a lemon lime one for the 1 hour and the orange one for the 3 hour. I preferred the orange.

I also had the orange drink, it's a small bottle, mine came in what looked like a mini soda bottle and it tasted like super sweet orange soda. For some reason it reminded me of alka seltzer. Good luck!

I go for my test this friday 9/12, but my doc does it in the office. They gave me the drink at my last appt (24 weeks) & I have to drink it before my appt on Friday (28 weeks). I have the fruit punch flavor. I heard it is not that bad.

I had wheat toast w/ tea, no sugar. the doc told me not to have anything sweet. don't go out and eat donuts basically

I had dreaded it too but I passed and I'm sure you will too! The drink isn't bad. I agree that it tastes like flat orange soda!

that's becuase hawaiian punch has as much sugar as a glucose drink 
Most people tolerate the drink quite well. only GD folks like me get really
for me it was literally a dizzying experience. not fun. I had the orange one, which tasted like super-concentrated tang... bleh.
For me, the taste seemed so intense becuase I normally don't drink sugary drinks at all, so the whole thing was a major shock to my system......
