I must say footless pantyhose can be very practical. I went to the Inaugural Ball a few years ago and it was FREEZING out. I was going to wear a ball gown with open toe shoes. The footless pantyhose kept me a little warmer.

Okay this one is not going to go over well. This has been a fashion staple for years and will be for years to come. But, I cannot stand . . .

pointy toed shoes. They remind me of witches and I have NEVER seen a pair that I liked. They extend your feet by like two inches. Gross.

I bought ONE pair of boots and wore them once and just started down at them in horror the whole night.

Oh well, I will never be fashionable. Chat Icon

The one thing for me is Uggs... I'm sure they are comfy but I think they are ugly.

I could never get on board this one either. I know I would be tripping all over the place and stumbling up stairs since the first couple of inches of shoe are just for show. Never mind the points would probably get destroyed from the tripping and scraping up against stair risers. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Looove my Crocs. But commited to not wear them outside the house anymore.

Don't get Uggs. I found them ugly. And I don't want to hear comfortable. Crocs are comfy too.

So, there is "hype" around certain fashion/beauty trends, designers, etc. that I just don't get...What are yours?

The hype I don't understand:
- Tory Burch flats - they seem like pretty flimsy flats that my heavy foot would destroy upon the first wearing...and for $100+?

- Crocs - do I even need to discuss this here?

- Cowboy Boots - cute with jeans but not jeans tucked into them; wearing them with tights - ugh...

- Footless panty-hose...it just seems like you should wear it all or none at all.

you are my sunshine
my only sunshine
you make me happy
when skies are gray

you'll never know dear
how much I love you........

For someone who HATES wearing heels the introduction to Tory's ballet slippers where the best thing to ever happen to me. Fashionable, TOTALLY STURDY (I wear the to 14+ hour long events) and comfy.

I think it depends on the foot! I like pointy shoes in the store, but when you already have a size 10 foot, the extra, space for the "point" makes your foot look even bigger.

I have 1 pointy pair that I like, but they aren't super point, and then round off a little at the end.

I think this is why I liked opened toed shoes-- no toe shape to stress over.
