Velcro tape or a big stapler?

Which do you think is better to attach my DH's cell phone to him? I swear he pi$$es me off soo badly when I call him and he doesn't answer his phone! I told him that if he doesn't answer when I call him @ being in labor that I will not keep trying - he will have to figure it out for himself when he comes home from work and I am not there
Don't you think it might be a good idea to answer the phone when your 9mo pregnant wife calls?!?!?

I feel your pain!!! This is a huge concern of mine as I get further into my pregnancy. My DH tells me all the time: "my cell phone is always on".. Yeah, it's always on, but it's always in your CAR instead of with you! This has actually been a bone of contention with me since we were dating!

They just don't get it.

I told my DH I was going to grazy clue it , to his a$$ the other day- He left it on the counter at Hess when getting gas and of course, my previa started bleeding and I had to get my best friend to get me over to the OB- He said there were 46 missed calls on his phone when he finally got it- He will never make that mistake again !

Men! So dumb! I vote nail gun as well, but only if you nail it to him while his pants are on

I have the same issue! He says it's always on him, but that he doesn't hear it or the vibrating option isn't strong enough. Ugh!!!!



I really do not want to be mad at him the day I go into labor, but that's going to be totally on him. He'll die if my mom takes me to the hospital because he was unreachable, but it will be his own fault.


ETA: I'm 9 months -- so that phone should be in his hand at all times!!!

WHOOOOOOPS Now I've got to apologize to DH, you see, I had a little rant at him on Tuesday for the same thing.... (its the phone, I can't hear it ringing, somehow the ringer went on mute, i forgot to charge it, it was in the truck, yaddayaddayadda). I told him he is the ONLY MAN IN THE WORLD who's so careless with his cell with a 9+ months pregnant wife. Apparently I should've checked here first!!!

I am only 25 weeks but this is something that concerns me as well..... DH is always leaving his phone in his car or does not hear it ringing or the damn thing is DEAD!!!
Even though I am only 25 weeks & not going into labor anytime soon I still feel that he should make sure his phone is charged & with him at ALL times. You never know when something may go wrong & I may need to go to the hospital!!!! God forbid, but I am terrified of going into pre-term labor or something like that & I can't get a hold of him....

heh, I frankly didn't think of this problem yet... (my first internal is on thurs... I'm just over 35 weeks).

DH always has his phone in his general vicinity, BUT, when he does experiments, he tunes out the world and has his earphones in.... not TOO big of a deal since I work 2 floors above, but if I enter labor, how am I going to waddle down there and get him???!

I should really tell him to keep it clipped on his hip all day just in case...

my friend did some test runs on her husband to see if he would really answer... make him jump thru hoops and train him..(thats what i plan on doing) my DH rarely answers his cell
