help please

anyone ever have bleeding after an internal exam?

(warning TMI)


i just got home from an internal, little bit of blood on my underwear, like i was just starting my period, along with some light discharge (but thin like regular CM, not mucus plug-like). same amount on TP after peeing. now there doesn't seem to be anything.

i already called my doctor's office, they said that this was "normal."

um, yeah, right i am 38 weeks, nothing is normal right now.

I have but I am not as far along. Hey even if you go into labor soon I think you are considered full term

okay i just did a search and i see it is kind of common... i wonder why this didn't happen with my last 2 internals

i wonder if i'll have jenandmikey's luck and have the baby soon now

I was just going to write about jenandmikey who wrote about a little blood after her internal and went into labor that same night!!!!!

They have told me each time they do an internal that I may have a little bleeding afterwards. But hopefully for you it's the beginning of the end

Spotting is normal but not always the case after an internal.

Heavy bleeding, like having your period, is not normal.

thanks ladies... i have had a lower backache all day (not normal for me) and cramping, and i think some braxton hicks but i can't really be sure. thought it was constipation but it, ah, wasn't.

i hope this is it... but i'm not counting my chickens

I had what I considered more than a little of bleeding after an internal once. Doc said it was normal.

But I didn't notice and CM type discharge.

From a chick who lost their plug over a few days - it definitely looks different than CM.
