in case you didn't see my post from earlier I bought them coffee mugs and just said this is your first gift from your god daughter we would be pleasnatly please if you would except and of course they did but I have heard of people getting cute picture frames and putting like a sono pic in it or if you wait until baby is here to ask put a pic of baby and have it engraved with godfather/mother Image Attachment(s):

Cute mugs! I might get that for the Godfather of baby #2. I would probably get a pic frame for the godmother. She is obsessed with Cinderella, so I might get her something with the fairy godmother on it.

My sister LOVES fairies -
So i'm planned to get her the Lenox Cinderella "Fairy" Godmother - I know she's not a REAL fairy, but hey, she still has the name and I've already bought her Tinkerbell and the 3 fairies from Sleeping Beauty ..........

I was thinking to maybe ask my sister at my shower. I am not sure about this yet...just thinking about it. I want to do something special.

Same here. We just asked them. When the day came we just got them some really special gifts and will again this time.

we haven't discussed who we will ask yet, but we are very informal and will probalby do it over the phone or in person if we happen to be with whoever we choose after we decide. Godparents aren't a huge deal for us, or our religion.
