short term disabil.
does anyone know of a contact number or a way to get info re: std which discusses 6 weeks leave time (or 8 c sec) i have to gather all my info since i work for a small company and am the 1st girl to be preg. fun huh? thanks for ur help. i cant find anything on internet re: NYS short term dis and pregnancy.

I have it through Colonial supplemental insurance...I'm a teacher in NC and they offered better coverage than what the district did.

that link above is only valid if your company is a carrier of that insurance. that is not a NY STATE website. its the NY STATE insurance fund... here is some info - - not all companies use it.. NYSIF is a competitive insurance carrier available to any business with employees in New York State. NYSIF sells only workers’ compensation and disability benefits insurance. By law, it is required that workers’ compensation premiums offered by NYSIF are fixed at the lowest possible cost sufficient to maintain a solvent fund.
