I did a lot of research on the topic, and frankly, there's practically no difference between any of the stat's or credentials of viacord and CBR.
In the end I chose CBR... mainly becuase viacord storage facility is close to a river that may flood, and CBR is in the middle of the dessert (no storms / flooding)
After I made my decision, I discovered I qualified for a medical professional discount at cbr, which definitely sweetened the deal!

Thanks for the info-I didnt know Viacord was near a river! Middle of the desert sounds good to me- little chance of a natural disaster!!

I have been researching where to bank my baby's cord. I can't decide either.
I requested info from....CBR, Viacord and Cryocell (which is the cheapest)
I can't decide!!!

FYI, here's a very good nonprofit website that unbiasedly compares all of the private cord banking companies (includes costs, success rates, how long the company has existed...)
this site helped me a lot

We are using CBR it was cheaper than viacord and I feel comfortable as it is one of the biggest ones.
