I am not happy with the baby furniture out there!!!
Today we went to Bellini and Behr's. I didn't like one thing.
I don't even know where else to look. I will have to order Restoration Hardware, but wish I could see this furniture in person.
Any other suggestions???:

I got mine at JCPenney, but you can't see it before you order it either. I loved the Pottery Barn stuff, but it is SO $$$!

I am right there with you. I'm so frustrated by the lack of really nice furniture out there.
Strangely enough, it seems JCPenney is the place to go--and the ONLY set I like so far is from there!

I just got mine at BBB. I really liked a set at JC Penny also, but was afraid to order it because we could not see it in person. Here's the one I got at BBB.

Have you check out the furniture by manufacturer and visit the stores that carry the brand you like?
I check out the Munire, Bonavita and Baby's Dream lines and some of the furniture look really nice. From there I'll check the stores that carry those lines and visit them...
Next stop is Crib & Teen City!

I thought of this but I really prefer to buy directly from a company to be sure it's safe and there would be guarantees. Thanks for the suggestion.

It had some of the same stuff and also a lot more...it is definitley a good idea to take a trip there

I agree, I was not thrilled with what I saw, try going to smaller boutiques, I can give you a list! FM me if you want info? Do you live far out on the island?

That's not the issue at all. I just didn't like anything at BBB or BRU.

That's not the issue at all. I just didn't like anything at BBB or BRU.

I totally agree...I just ordered mine from Restoration Hardware Baby and was also worried that I wouldn't be able to see it in person before ordering it....but we just did it anyway. We ordered the Asher collection.
I'll let you know how it goes when it arrives

I fell in love with the brand Natart at Buy Buy Baby- I think I'm going to get the chelsea collection
Heres a pic- just gonna get the crib and then a different chest of drawers/changing table which they're not showing

Try Sukon's on Cross Bay Boulevard in Ozone Park. They have beautiful things and they work with you on price.

I agree. We started looking at BBB and BRU. I actually liked the Natart and Bonavita sets at BBB. Then I went to Sukons, where we bought my sister's baby furniture last year. I saw a Bonavita set there that I really liked and they worked with us on the price.
