Had my level II today and it's a....
So frustrating!!!
The first tech was a student and she said girl right away. Then the real tech came in and told us that the baby wasn't cooperating, but it looked "girly."
I have to back next week because my cervix was only measuring 2.8 and it should be 3.0.
Anyone else have a short cervix? What does it mean?

I do my cervix was 1.7 and they put in a cerclage my cervix is still 1.1cm I have been on bedrest for a few weeks but yours isn't too bad you may need to keep off your feet for a few days

The worst part is that my dr. is on vacation until late August. If anything is wrong, I will have to deal with his partner. Ugh.

are they doing sonos every week to check it now i mean you cervix isn't that bad but it should be watched. the dr has told me that my cervix will probaby not hold out to full term

?
How does a baby look "Girly", other than seeing the girl parts? I am sure they should be able to tell next week, hopefully you get a new tech.

It's funny, everyone I tell is ticked off...they're like "how could they not know???" I'm ok with it. As long as the baby is healthy. I go back next week anyway.

ugh! that's so frustrating
Scone was misbehaving throughout out level II also..... we had a brief flash of what looked like boy goods, but there's still a small chance of a girl.
luckily, we're getting a growth sono at some point

Sorry they weren't able to tell for sure!!!! That's frustrating!
But glad that your baby is healthy!!!
As for your cervix...they are also concerned about mine. I go in every 2 weeks to get a sono to check the length. As long as they monitor it closely, you should be fine!
