I want to do this, but I don't want DC to get confused with the nipple.
I want to use Dr. Brown's but not sure if that would be good.

I used Dr Browns when I supplemented with my DD. No problems

I used Dr. Brown's with DS. With this baby, I am using Avent. The Dr. Brown's had too many parts! I personally don't "believe" in nipple confusion. DS took a pacifier in the hospital and actually started on formula for the first 36 hours (I couldn't nurse him right away due to some medicines I was on). As soon as I was able, DS latched on and nursed like a champ for 9 months. I supplemented and pumped as well, once I went back to work at 4 months.
I think the best thing to go with is the wide neck bottles, rather than the tall skinny ones. That should be the focus not necessarily the brand
